SPM International launches SPM Academy – a new global center for ISO-compliant vibration training and certification

The launch of SPM Academy Inc. marks the next step in this journey – a new center for training and certification designed to strengthen industrial reliability expertise worldwide.

SPM Academy Inc. is led by Mr. Bill Partipilo, CEO of SPM Instrument North America, who brings an extensive background in maintenance and reliability training operations.

“Our new global training center is born from a desire to provide maintenance and reliability industry professionals the opportunity to develop their skills through professional training using newly developed, inspiring course materials – in their local language, ​​on an interactive platform, at a location close to them,” Partipilo said.

SPM Academy training offers hands-on exercises, advanced simulators and animations, and real-world case studies that reflect the realities of modern maintenance challenges. The result is an engaging, practical learning experience designed to truly prepare participants for success.

Launching in November 2025, SPM Academy Inc. offers a global training platform with courses available in English, Spanish, and Swedish.

The new website, spmacademy.com, features a worldwide course calendar that includes both in-classroom and distance learning options, as well as early booking for 2026 programs – ready to include in upcoming budgets. The first courses – Vibration Analysis CAT I and CAT II – begin January 1, 2026, followed by CAT III and CAT IV, all concluding with an optional ISO 18436-2 certification exam administered impartially by the independent SPM Academy Certification Center, which is actively pursuing accreditation through the ANSI National Accreditation Board.
