The DuoTech Ex accelerometer is a single-transducer solution designed for safe condition monitoring in potentially explosive environments. Combining vibration analysis and shock pulse measurement—or both simultaneously—it provides maximum flexibility to choose the best technique for each application, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial monitoring tasks.
Individually tuned and piezo-electric, the sensor delivers high-precision performance across low and high frequencies. Internally isolated within a Faraday shield, it offers superior protection from ground loops and RF interference. Fully IEPE compatible, it connects via Ex interface, twisted pair cable, and MIL-type connector, ensuring seamless integration with standard vibration inputs and making it a cost-effective choice for retrofit projects.
Built for the toughest environments, the accelerometer features a stainless acid-proof steel housing and hermetic sealing, guaranteeing long-term durability. It is certified for safe use in hazardous areas with the following Ex marking:
